Bio

Emma Booth

Emma started her acting career at the age of 13 starting in the Australian kids show The Adventures Of Bush Patrol. She then went on to model internationally before getting her first film role in Clubland know as Introducing The Dwight's in America. For her performance as "Jill" she won the AACTA Award for best supporting actress, the Film Critics Award for best supporting actress, and Best Newcomer at the Film Inc Awards.

Emma then shot Bloodcreek directed by Joel Schumacher, where she starred with Henry Cavill and Michael Fassbender. After that Emma co-starred in Hippy Hippy Shake alongside Sienna Miller, Cillian Murphy, and Chris O'Dowd.

Her next film was The Boys Are Back alongside Clive Owen, following that with the filming of Pelican Blood in the UK.

Emma then starred in the award winning Australian television series Underbelly The Golden Mile, followed by the feature film Swerve. She the worked with Stephen Curry playing his daughter in the award winning Australian TV movie Cloudstreet.

Emma was then seen in theatres opposite Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez in Taylor Hackford’s Parker followed by John Curran’s Tracks staring opposite Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver.

In 2013 Emma co-starred opposite Janet Montgomery in Mark Gordon’s ABC pilot Gothica, directed by Anand Tucker. After which she filmed Tango Underpants written by John Collee (Happy Feet, Master & Commander).

In 2015 Emma shot the Lionsgate film God's Of Egypt along side of Jeffery Rush, Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldu, Elodie Yung, & Chadwick Boseman.

After God's Of Egypt Emma shot the critically acclaimed NETFLIX Original series Glitch. Emma's portrayal of "Kate" helped Glitch win both the AACTA Award and the LOGIE Award for best drama series.

In January 2016 Emma worked alongside long time friend, director, & writer Ben Young shooting the thriller Hounds Of Love. 

Hounds Of Love premiered at the Venice Film Festival where it was met with critical acclaim that followed the film around the world finishing up at SXSW and Tribeca Film Festivals. For her portrait of Evelyn White in Hounds Of Love Emma won the award for Best Actress at the 2017 Bruxelles International Film Festival. 

Mid way through 2017 Emma has already been shooting in Melbourne Australia reprising her role as Kate Willis for the season two of Glitch. Most recently Emma was in Serbia with Hounds Of Love director and friend Ben Young shooting the Si-fi Feature Film "Extinction" for Good Universe/Universal Pictures where she stared along side Michale Pena and Lizzy Caplin.
